SRT / PHP Certification

The Practitioner Training Course is an immersion in Somatic Release Technique™ (SRT) and the Points Holding Process™ (PHP) study, experience and practice. Catalina is an SRT/ PHP teacher with her own style and teachings refined and developed over 28 years. Her background is in Somatic Experiencing® (SE). She certified with Somatic pioneer Dr. Peter Levine in 1994 and with Energetic Clearing teacher, Judith Johnson. She has also studied human neurobiology with Stanley Rosenberg, and Stephen Porges’ polyvagal theory which focuses on understanding the cranial nerves as the key to our physiological and physical well-being.

Catalina adopted her training into her own style which she calls Points Holding Process™ (PHP) and Somatic Release Technique™ (SRT). She has much to offer beyond the framework of Somatic therapy, working in-depth with the Nerve System, the Vagus Nerve and Belief Systems. This professional training course is open to health professionals as well as those without prior therapeutic training.

The training course provides opportunities to become an SRT/PHP practitioner, a chance to repeat training for further integration, or simply to experience personal growth and transformation. Trainees will leave the program with an all-encompassing, life-defining experience, and the tools needed to continue a fulfilling, regenerative lifestyle.

Program Logistics

The SRT/PHP Practitioner Training Course is tentatively set to begin on a Sunday in the Spring of 2026 with Module 1, Session 1 and typically every Sunday thereafter, except holidays. Time: 10am – 12:15pm Los Angeles Pacific time.

PHP Training includes:

• Introductory PHP Workshop: two days.
• 2 modules consisting of 8 weekly webinars (2:15 hrs. each session)
• 2 intensive, 2-day hands-on practice workshops with trained PHP and SRT supervisors, Catalina Ureta, and guest assistants.
